From a moviegoer’s perspective, the 2026 horror year offers pattern and spread. 2026 Looks Exciting

There is franchise muscle where it helps, auteur intent where it matters, and a calendar that shows studios grasp the timing of scares. The awards and festival pipeline into 2027 will come into focus once the fall festivals lock, and it would not be surprising to see at least one late-arriving specialty entry join the party. For now, the job is simple, edit tight trailers, guard the secrets, and let the frights sell the seats.
